CZ BREN 2 Ms Limited Edition rifle to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Czech Republic's accession to NATO
This jubilee edition of the CZ BREN 2 Ms rifle, chambered in 223 Rem. and coming with an 11" barrel, will consist of only 25 units with a unique series of specially reserved serial numbers. The nineteenth IPSC Handgun World Shooting Championship was held from 16 November to 3 December 2022 in Pattaya, Thailand. CZ was the main sponsor of this exciting competition, which featured 1,600 of the best shooters from 50 countries around the world. In addition to its sponsorship, CZ’s international team recorded the greatest success in its history by dominating two of the three main divisions. Members of the CZ Shooting Team took home a total of five medals in the individual competitions - four gold and one silver – and placed second and third in the team competition!

The first item of the 88th auction day of the Kodl Gallery, which took place on Sunday, November 27 at Žofín in Prague, was a set of two hand-engraved pistols – a CZ 75 and a Colt 1911 – from the Tribute to Legends limited edition, which commemorates last year's merger of two important companies – Česká zbrojovka and American Colt. Colt CZ Group will donate the proceeds from the auction, which after several rounds of bidding reached a respectable CZK 1.7 mil., to the Military Solidarity Fund, the Police and Firefighters Foundation and to the collection account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic in support of the Ukrainian army.

2022 IPSC Handgun World Shoot – Elite competitors and a world’s first

CZ 75 “Order of the White Lion” Limited Edition
CZ is set to release a special edition that commemorates the centenary of the Czech Republic’s highest state decoration and represents the world’s first blockchain-authenticated firearm. The very first CZ 75 from the 100-piece Order of the White Lion edition will be auctioned off in a special online event by the Artslimit auction portal of the Kodl Gallery. The online auction will be held over the course of two weeks, starting on Monday, December 5, and finishing two weeks later, on Sunday, December 18. The proceeds will be donated to the Endowment Fund of the President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman.

CZ 75 REPUBLIKA auctioned for a record amount
A limited edition CZ 75 REPUBLIKA pistol was auctioned on Tuesday, 13 September 2022 at an evening organized by the Goltz Fortress Gallery in the Czech Republic. The gun was auctioned together with other works of art. The price of 980,000 CZK (40,000 EUR) even surpassed the “Girl in the golden dresses” statue by the well-known Czech sculptor Olbram Zoubek. The CZ 75 REPUBLIKA pistol was sold for the highest amount from all works auctioned that evening, thus proving that alongside important works of art, engraved firearms from CZ are among today’s best investments.

CZ Shooting Team members win four medals at the World Police & Fire Games 2022
The World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) 2022 was held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 22 to 31 July. Personnel from police, fire, customs and corrections services from all over the world competed in a total of 62 disciplines. Two members of the CZ Shooting Team, Ljubisa Momcilovic and Miguel Ramos, took part in the Police Action Pistol (PAP) discipline, which is similar to sport shooting according to IPSC rules. The result? Three gold medals and one silver!
The Czech team wins four gold and one bronze at the European Championship Combined Game Shooting Final 2022!
This year's 14th edition of the European Championship Combined Game Shooting Final took place from 1 - 3 July at the TAV Piancardato sports club shooting range in the Italian village of Collazzone, which is located within the province of Perugia in the Umbria region. The Czech national team took home a total of five medals - four gold and one bronze. All Czech competitors used CZ 527 Varmint centerfire rifles.

Česká zbrojovka signed an amendment with the Ministry of Defense to increase the fulfilment of the framework agreement
On 9 March 2022, Česká zbrojovka concluded an amendment to the framework agreement for the purchase of small arms, signed in April 2020, with the Ministry of Defense. The amendment will enable the Army of the Czech Republic to receive small arms supplies with the value of up to CZK 1.18 billion higher than the originally agreed limit of CZK 2.35 billion. Based on the amended contract, Česká zbrojovka will, among other things, increase the supply of the CZ BREN 2 assault rifles, CZ P-10 pistols, and other small arms, including accessories, depending on the current needs of the Army of the Czech Republic.

After three long years, exhibitors and the professional public have finally met once again at the IWA Outdoor Classics exhibition. The exhibition, which focuses on hunting, sport shooting, outdoor activities and safety, is held every year in the German city of Nuremberg. Unfortunately, the past two editions of the exhibition were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the current geopolitical situation in 2022 is unusual, to say the least, the exhibition still managed to take place this year, bringing with it a long-awaited opportunity for face-to-face meetings.

CZ P-10 Micro – new level EDC pistol
When the first model of the CZ P-10 series was launched in 2017, CZ talked about a new level of defence and service striker-fired pistols with a polymer frame. And it was not just a marketing slogan. Civilian shooters as well as customers from the ranks of armed forces soon found out that the P tens, thanks to their sophisticated and partly completely original design, really brought about significant improvements in some key properties and parameters. It resulted in great commercial success, followed by rapid extending of the offer with other versions. The most recent model in this excellent series is the super-compact CZ P-10 M, or the Micro.
An award for Česká zbrojovka a.s. in the prestigious Exporter of the Year contest
As regards the annual export volumes, Česká zbrojovka a.s. ranks among the largest exporters of the Czech Republic. Every year, it moves up in the ranking of the nation-wide contest, the twenty-fifth edition of which took place on 9 December 2019 in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague under the title 2019 Exporter of the Year or Powering the Wheels of Czech Exports.
Summary of the IPSC Shooting Season
We regularly write about the results of IPSC shooting events, where members of the CZ Shooting Team equipped with CZ sport pistols place in very good positions. This year’s season of these competitions is over, and since our shooters collected a lot of achievements this year, we would like to recapitulate all of them.
Defence & Security Fair in Thailand
In November this year, there was another trade fair of armed forces in addition to Milipol. The Defence & Security fair taking place in Bangkok is the fastest growing international armed forces fair in South Asia. Česká zbrojovka a.s. could not miss this event, and visitors were able to hold and see CZ products.

In November, Paris hosted the 21st year of the Milipol trade fair. This trade fair focused on internal defence and security was attended by over 30,000 participants and 300 journalists. Every year, thousands of companies present their new products, services and know-how. Companies presenting equipment for armed forces also included Česká zbrojovka.
Successful IPSC Championship in Australasia
CZ pistols once again shone in the hands of members of the CZ Shooting Team. This time they won three medals at the last IPSC event of the season. The IPSC Australasia Championship took place in November in the Philippines and even this competition was successful for our team.

This year’s hunting season was once gain a season of CZ long firearms, namely the CZ 527 centrefire rifle in the .222 Rem. calibre and the CZ 557 centrefire rifle in the 6XC calibre.

A Firearm Configurator was Launched in the Czech Republic
Česká zbrojovka a.s. officially launched a configurator website where you can build a gun to your liking. This unrivalled novelty in firearms sales has been running since Tuesday midnight, 15 October 2019. It is currently only available for the Czech market, but a worldwide expansion is planned for the future.
CZ sport pistols triumph at the ME IPSC in Belgrade, Serbia
The CZ Shooting Team achieved superb results at the 2019 IPSC European Handgun Championship. Amongst several hundred top shooters from around the world, the CZ Shooting Team managed to win four European Championship titles.

Česká zbrojovka a. s. supported Festival vědy (Science Festival), which is a traditional event organized by universities UCT Prague and CTU in Prague, the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Prague Youth Centre. This year of the festival, called Věda v profesích (Science in Professions), was held on 4 September 2019 in Prague.
CZ az NATO Days in Ostrava, Czech Republic
On 21 and 22 September 2019, Česká zbrojovka a.s. participates in the biggest security show in Europe called NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. The main programme, which takes place at the Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport, consists of a presentation of heavy military, police and rescue equipment, dynamic displays of special forces’ training, flying displays and presentations of armaments, equipment and gear of individual units.

CZ general partner of “450 ml NADĚJE”
As the general partner of the project 450 ml NADĚJE (HOPE), Česká zbrojovka a.s. has supported the recruitment of new volunteer blood donors for haematology and transfusion departments in hospitals across the whole of the Czech Republic. This year, the event was held on the 17th January in the Uherské Hradiště Hospital, on the 17th April in the Vyškov Hospital, and on the 13th and 15th May in the Tomas Bata Hospital in Zlín. Almost 400 blood donors took part in the project.

The IDET fair is this year’s most important European event of its kind, where tens of thousands of professional visitors from around the world present the world’s leading companies focused on the development and production of defence technologies. The Česká zbrojovka exhibition can be found in Hall P, Booth No. 103.
Shooters of the CZ Shooting Team won 9 medals!
From the perspective of practical IPSC shooting competitions, last weekend was very successful for shooters of the factory team of Česká zbrojovka a.s. Members of the CZ Shooting Team shined at the Mosquito Match in Slovakia, where they won 8 medals. Gold shooters included Robin Šebo in the OPEN division, Martina Šerá in the OPEN Lady division, Michal Štěpán in the PRODUCTION division and Josef Rakušan in the STANDARD division. The première of Eric Grauffel, who started this year’s season in the colours of Česká zbrojovka, was excellent as well. At the Champagne Trophy in France, he easily won the gold medal in the PRODUCTION division with the CZ SHADOW 2 pistol.

Between 13 and 18 May 2019, the 24th Czech-Slovak theatre festival called Setkání Stretnutie will be held in Zlín. The general partner of the festival is Česká zbrojovka a.s. The Zlín City Theatre will host both Czech and Slovak ensembles.
Investments in Arkansas
In April of this year, the Česká zbrojovka Group took another step towards its strategic goal of expanding its operations in the United States. The subsidiary CZ-USA and Arkansas representatives negotiated the conditions for the construction of a modern plant in Little Rock. This means that CZ-USA will move from Kansas to Little Rock, Arkansas.

Česká zbrojovka supported an event in honour of heroes
For ten years, there has been a project by which HC Sparta Praha pays tribute to members of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) and members of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic (AČR) who lost their lives on duty. This jubilee titled “Pocta hrdinům” (Tribute to the Heroes) was traditionally supported by Česká zbrojovka a.s. as the general partner.

Maria Gushchina became Champion of the Far East Asia!
Between 17 and 22 September 2018, Pattaya in Thailand hosted the Far East Asia IPSC Handgun Championship 2018. Maria Gushchina gave a superb performance and beat all the shooters in the Production Division, winning the gold medal.

At the end of September, Chicago became the centre of the centennial celebrations to commemorate 100 years since the founding of independent Czechoslovakia. The main event was the Gala evening, attended, among others, by the 1st Deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Hamáček, the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Stephen King, the Czech Republic Ambassador to the United States, Hynek Kmoníček, and many other distinguished guests.

On Friday, 28 September 2018, Chicago will host the Czech Centennial Gala in commemoration of 100 years of the foundation of the independent Czechoslovak Republic. Czech National Championship 2018 in Hodonice
On the first weekend of September, the Czech National Championship in IPSC shooting took place in Hodonice near Znojmo. The 190 shooters included successful members of the CZ Shooting Team.
Česká zbrojovka supports a running race in Šumice
Česká zbrojovka is going to support the 2nd annual race called “Běh pro Život” (Race for Life) aka “Šumické boty” (Šumice Shoes), which is associated with charitable activities in cooperation with the KRTEK children’s oncology endowment fund. The aim of this year’s event is to financially help the family of a two-and-a-half year old girl from Uherský Brod, who underwent a brain tumour treatment. The collected money will be used for her rehabilitation care.
