IDEX 2021 - CZ exhibits again
Ceska zbrojovka a.s. will be exhibiting once again after a long break. In February, they will attend the IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, to serve as a representative for the Czech defence industry.
The coronavirus pandemic has affected all of us. It has also had a significant negative impact on events and exhibitions that take place on a regular basis all around the world. Exhibitions focusing on the military, as well on hobby and outdoor shooting, were important events that provided CZ with the opportunity to personally connect with their customers and give live presentations that introduce their latest products. Unfortunately, this situation changed last year when all major exhibitions that CZ had traditionally participated in were either canceled or postponed.
CZ responded to these changes quickly and creatively by becoming the first, and only, weapons manufacturer to give online presentations of its products. New CZ products for 2020 were introduced to end customers through newsletters, websites and social networks. In addition, business partners and journalists had the opportunity to attend online conferences, where they were provided with detailed information about all products and had the opportunity to ask CZ experts a wide range of questions during the live broadcast.
But nothing can replace personal contact. Therefore, CZ appreciates the opportunity to exhibit once again, despite the fact that the situation surrounding coronavirus has not experienced a significant improvement since the beginning of the year. This valued opportunity is IDEX (International Defence Exhibition & Conference), which is an international exhibition for the defence industry.
IDEX is the most important military exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. As the only exhibition in this region with an international reach, the latest technologies in the field of ground defence, navy and aviation are presented there once every two years. Over 1,500 organizations and institutions from 60 countries regularly exhibit at IDEX, with attendance exceeding 70,000 participants. The Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) has 12 spacious halls, as well as an outdoor area with grandstand and marina where demonstrations of military equipment take place, which include ships and ground vehicles. The exhibition will be held this year from 21 - 25. February 2021.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Defence and Security Industry Association (DSIA), CZ and other companies will attend the exhibition and serve as representatives of the Czech defence industry. CZ weapons and tactical equipment from CZ’s sister company 4M will be on display at Stand No. 09-B22. Among the products you can expect to see will be the full-size CZ P-10 F and compact CZ P-10 C striker-fired pistols, CZ P-07 and CZ P-09 hammer-fired pistols, CZ SCORPION EVO 3 submachine gun, CZ BREN 2 7.62x39 caliber assault rifle with 9 or 11 inch barrel, CZ BREN 807 7.62x39 caliber assault rifle with 16 inch barrel, CZ BREN 2 BR 7.62x51 caliber battle rifle and the CZ TSR 308 Win. sniper rifle.
CZ is very happy to exhibit again, represent their nation’s industry and meet visitors at the exhibition in person.
