CZ Shooting Team members take top honors in August
Members of the CZ Shooting Team achieved very impressive results in August, when they traveled to three shooting competitions in the Czech Republic and Poland.
The first competition was the Hot Shots World Tour 2021, which was held in the Czech city of Hodonice from 31 July to 1 August. CZ Shooting Team members Zdenek Liehne, Josef Rakusan and Petr Znamenacek were on fire and took 1st, 2nd and 4th places in the Standard Division. Not to be outdone, Michal Stepan finished 1st in the Production division. In the Open division, Robin Sebo and Miroslav Havlicek took control of the course and finished in 1st and 2nd place.
The CZ Shooting Team then traveled to Poland, where they competed in the Polish Extreme Open 2021 from 16 – 22 August. Michal Stepan was unstoppable and secured 1st place in the Production division, while Andrej Hrnciarik and Lars Hagemann (Senior category) followed his lead by both taking 1st place in the Production Optics division. Further success was garnered by Robin Sebo and Miroslav Havlicek, who finished 1st and 2nd in the Open division. Martina Sera came out with her gun blazing for the Ladies Open division, where she soundly secured 1st place. Zdenek Liehne and Petr Znamenacek followed the lead of their team mates by taking home 2nd and 3rd place in the Standard division.
Just one week later, from 31 August to 1 September, the team had a competition for the Czech National Handgun Championship 2021 in the Czech city of Znojmo, where they once again achieved amazing results. Josef Rakusan and Zdenek Liehne dominated the Standard division by taking 1st and 2nd place with their CZ TS Orange sport pistols in hand. With the help of their CZ Czechmate sport pistols, Robin Sebo and Miroslav Havlicek secured 1st and 2nd place in the Open division, while Martina Sera placed 1st in the Women’s Open division. Andrej Hrnciarik finished 3rd in the Production Optics division using his CZ SHADOW 2 OR, and Michal Stepan secured 1st place in the Production division with his CZ Shadow 2 Orange sport pistol.
