Zbrojovka in Uherský Brod was established in the tense atmosphere of the second half of the 1930s as a subsidiary "machine-gun factory" of Česká zbrojovka, a joint stock company in Prague with its main plant in Strakonice.
Today, Česká zbrojovka a.s., Uherský Brod, is one of the world's leading producers of handguns and has long been an indispensable player in the history of armaments technology, in which it has enrolled mainly - but not only - its legendary CZ 75 pistol.
In the book Legend on behalf of CZ, the story of transformations and the rise of the arms factory in Uherský Brod has been systematically and graphically elaborated.
The main chapters on the development of the company from the foundation to the present are supplemented by subchapters devoted to individual models of weapons that were produced or produced in Uherský Brod in the given period. There is also data on the number of pieces produced.
