CZ at the Buddy ARMY TEST in Chrudim

The last Buddy ARMY TEST before the start of the summer holiday took place on Sunday, 24 June, in Chrudim. The event was organized by the Association for the Support of the Active Reserve in cooperation with the 43rd Airborne Battalion and under the auspices of Lieutenant General, Aleš Opata, Chief of the General Staff of ACR. CZ was the proud to be a sponsor once again.

As in previous years, this fitness test was organized for children and adults between the ages of 6 and 60. The requirements for children are set up so as to be easily met by most of them. However, they gradually become more and more challenging, with the most difficult ones set for those of 18 years of age, when the standards for physical fitness in the army is at its highest for both men and women. This year, a new discipline was introduced, for two member teams. There were three categories (age 18+): 2 men, 2 women and 1 man + 1 woman.

Ondřej Poděl, the Marketing Director of CZ said: “As a major supplier of weapons to the Czech military, CZ shows its support to various activities connected to the defence and security of our country. One of such organizations is the Association for the Support of the Active Reserve. As our company is one of the Association’s founding members, we sponsor most of its activities, so we are very happy to play a part in the event in Chrudim. Although we are not going to present our weapons here as such, they will certainly make an appearance, being as our BREN assault rifles are part of the local paratroopers’ equipment.

At the end of the day, winners of the individual categories took home some attractive prizes, amongst them some donated by CZ.
