In the days of 13 to 16 November 2016 in Česká zbrojovka a.s. took place an exercise of the Active Reserves of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. The theme of this event was the protection of production facilities and premises.
Exercise of the Staff of Regional Military Command Zlín of subordinated units of active reserves has been focused on guarding and patrolling of non-military facilities important for national defence. The objective was surveillance and defence of the manufacturing plant premises that is of Česká zbrojovka in Uherský Brod. Military exercise was held with the use of weapons, dummy ammunition and imitation ammunition while observing safety precautions and established regulations.
The main part of the exercise took place on Monday 14 Nov. and Tuesday 15 Nov. Citizens of Uherský Brod could meet in these days’ uniformed soldiers and police officers of the Czech Republic, and their vehicles. On Tuesday this event was also visited by the Governor of the Zlín Region, Mr Jiří Čunek, who saw demonstration of soldiers in reserves training for premises guarding and surveillance.
This exercise was held based on the Resolution of the Government of the Czech Republic dated January 12, 2009, when the production complex of Česká zbrojovka a.s. given its strategic prominence for the defence of the Czech Republic was ranked in Zlín Region among non-military premises important for the national defence.
