The 38th SHOT Show, the most important and the largest annual tradeshow in the world for the shooting, hunting and firearms industry, took place in Las Vegas between the 19th and the 22nd January 2016, while Česká zbrojovka a.s. again also took part through its CZ-USA subsidiary.
After a very successful show last year, during which CZ-USA introduced its CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1 Pistol model onto the market, which then became our best selling product in the United States in 2015, the CZ weapons again received a warm welcome at this year's SHOT Show. We were again able to introduce several new products onto the US market, which promises us high sales and additional support for our brand in this key region.
Undoubtedly our biggest attraction this year will be our CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1 Carbine, a semi-automatic version of the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 machine gun, with a 16" barrel. This model will be 90% produced by CZUB and then completed by our CZ-USA subsidiary. In accordance with the initial acclaim we have received, both from our customers and from the public, we have every reason to believe that the sales of this weapon will surpass those of the last year's bestseller, the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1 Pistol that was mentioned above.
The other new products that we were able to introduce in the United States include our CZ 805 BREN S1 Carbine, the modernised pistol versions of the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 and CZ 805 BREN and their new Flat Dark Earth colour design, an Urban Grey colour pistol series adapted for the installation of a silencer (CZ P-07, CZ P-09, CZ 75 B Ω, CZ P-01 Ω, CZ 75 SP-01), the CZ P-07 Kadet .22 LR adapter, new versions of our semi-automatic rimfire rifles CZ 512 (American and Carbine) and new variants of our CZ 557 rifles. CZ-USA also introduced several new models of pistols and revolvers produced by the Dan Wesson company and a considerable number of the domestic CZ-USA shotguns.
The successful presentation at the SHOT Show predisposed Česká zbrojovka to make the year 2016 that is just starting even more successful than its previous record year in 2015.
