About Foundation
The Czech Shooting Sports Foundation was established in 2010 as the first
Foundation of its kind in the Czech Republic with the objective to promote and support the most extensive portfolio of shooting disciplines and to allow members of general public to participate through sponsorship in promotion of shooting sports. The sole founder of the Foundation is Česká zbrojovka a.s.
The purpose of the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation is the support of legal and natural persons in pursuit of generally beneficial objectives particularly in the development of shooting sports.
In order to achieve this purpose the Foundation shall collect and manage the funds using them for:
- Promotion of shooting sports development
- Promotion of shooting competitions
- Organizing and promotion of activities in the field of shooting sports oriented towards leisure opportunities and for developing talent and potentials of children and youth
- Organizing and promotion of cultural and social events for promotion of the Foundation and its objectives
- Providing help to charities and humanitarian actions
Achieving the purpose for which the Foundation has been established the Foundation uses the proceeds from the endowment and other property of the Foundation. The Foundation property can be used only in accordance with the law on foundations and endowment funds, the Foundation establishment charter and the Foundation’s statutes for contributions and costs associated with the Foundation management.
The Foundation shall raise funds through endowment gifts from legal and natural persons interested in shooting sports promotion. These endowment gifts are under conditions provided in the law are exempt from income tax.
The Foundation contributions shall be provided to legal persons or to natural persons strictly assigned after the conclusion of the agreement and exclusively in the form of monetary contribution. There is no legal obligation for granting the Foundation contribution and any provision of such contribution shall be decided by the Management Board based on the assessment of the application. The contribution implementation shall be rigorously controlled and the donee will have to prove its application for the purpose as stated.
With the objective to minimise administrative expenses of the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation there is only a 3 member Management Board and one auditor.

The yearly total costs of the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation associated with the Foundation management shall not exceed 15% of the value of annually provided grants and/or contributions. The Foundation management shall be in accordance with law, i.e. most transparent and publicly available through the Annual Report indicating overview of the Foundation donations and the Foundation contributions.

Applicants for Contribution
Conditions for granting Foundation’s contributions for the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation are laid down by the Foundation Statute as follows:
1. The Foundation contribution can be granted to the legal or natural persons through monetary contribution which is handed over to the donee/recipient using the bank transfer, payment of an invoice issued by the provider to the purpose as agreed, sending postal money-order, as an exception payment in cash to amounts not exceeding CZK 10, 000.00.
2. There is no legal obligation for granting the Foundation contribution. The Management Board is the authority making decisions about granting Foundation contribution and that based on application assessment.
3. Any application for granting Foundation contribution must contain:
- The first name and last name, date of birth and applicant’s main place of residence if natural person, or name, seat, register information and applicant’s ID if legal person,
- particular purpose, for which the contribution will be used,
- required level of contribution stating the budget for the whole project or event
- the statement if for the same purpose are there requirements or otherwise secured resources and their actual level.
The Foundation is entitled to request other supporting documents for examining contribution application.
4. The Management Board is entitled to reject the application for granting contribution without being required to justify its decision to the applicant. The Foundation shall inform applicant about the application rejection within 60 days of receipt of the application. The background papers provided with the application are not returned.
5. The Management Board decides about the final amount and purpose of the contribution and may adjust the amount provided against the application.
6.The Foundation concludes with the contribution donee the Contribution Agreement, which shall contain:
- Amount of the Foundation’s contribution,
- purpose and conditions under which the contribution can be used,
- method the contribution is provided by,
- the term the donee is obliged to submit the regularisation of the contribution and to produce evidence of the contribution implementation for the stated purpose.
- obligation of the donee to allow the Foundation to control the use of contribution,
- obligation of the donee to return granted contribution in the even of non-compliance with stated conditions.

Info for Donors
If the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation appealed to you so much that you are interested in providing a donation, you can use one of the following procedures:
1. Conclusion of Donation Agreement, which can be downloaded below. After filling data for donor identification, the amount donated and undersigning, please send two copies of the Agreement to the Foundation address found at the head of the Agreement. After signing the Agreement on behalf of the Foundation one copy will be sent immediately to you by post.
2. Sending donated amount to the Foundation account: Komerční banka, a.s., branch Uherský Brod, Czech Republic
Account No.: 43-7018080207/0100. After donation receipt the Foundation will issue for you the certificate of donation receipt.

Tax Benefits
Donors who donate to the Czech Shooting Sports Foundation a financial gift/contribution, can apply for the following tax exemptions:
- Legal persons – according to Section 20(8) and Section 34 of the Income Tax Act No. 586/1992 Coll., may from the tax base reduced in compliance with Section 34 of the above Income Tax Act, deduct the value of their donations, provided the total value amounts at least CZK 2.000. In total, deduction can be max. 5% from reduced tax base.
- Natural persons – according to Section 15 (1) of the Income Tax Act. 586/1992 Coll., may deduct the value of their donation from their tax base, provided its total value in the taxation period exceeds 2% of the tax base or amounts to at least CZK 1.000. In total, it is possible to deduct a maximum of 10% from the tax base.
