Shotguns from Brno after many years again basking in glory !

A new star of the Team CZ Shooting – the shooter from O/U shotgun Mr. Miroslav Matějík – achieved a great score at III. Round of the Czech Cup in Trap shooting where in the weekend this shooter won superb 2nd place using the BRNO TRAP COMPETITION firearm and shot very respectable 119 points.

This result meant that Mr. Miroslav Matějík ended this match between the winner of this weekend competition Mr. Jiří Gach and the third contestant Mr. Marek Machan. The Championship which was held from 10th July to 12 July 2009 at the Pilsen shooting range was manned by all Czech top shooters involved with the trap discipline. One person really missed was the Olympic Champion Mr. David Kostelecký.

In addition to traditionally successful pistol shooters the Team CZ Shooting witnesses emerging of a new star, this time in the shotgun shooting. Rightly essential shooter of Kometa Brno team Mr. Miroslav Matějík was so to say engaged into the CZ Shooting program not sooner than at the beginning of this year.

This young and hopeful Czech shotgun shooter at the end of the last year’s season had to address a problem necessitating an exchange of weapon. Apropos, this was the weapon, which this shooter used for all the years of his shooting career. At the end he has decided to depart from the top European producer of shotguns and decided to shoot with the weapon made by a domestic manufacturer, i.e. BRNO RIFLES s.r.o. And as this is an subsidiary company of Česká zbrojovka a.s., Mr. Miroslav Matějík was proposed to participate on the CZ Shooting program, and he joined this team.

Since that time his achievements are giving great evidence that his BRNO TRAP COMPETITION is fully competitive even at duels against the best of the world brands. To all the fans of shotguns sports in the Czech Republic Mr. Miroslav Matějík says:
