Last Saturday saw another round of the Czech Super League in Practical Pistol Shooting (IPSC) in Opařany. Even this round was attended by shooters involved in the shooting programme launched by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. They managed to attain their marks in Opařany very fast and boarded the bus to Debrecen (Hungary), where they participated at the prestigious international competition in practical pistol shooting - the GECO Open 2011.
This round of the Czech Super League hosted shooters from 7 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Russia, Lithuania and France). The competition was also honoured by the European champion in Production Division - Eduardo de Cobos from Spain. The event in Opařany was associated with assessment of all the existing divisions in accordance with IPSC rules (Open, Revolver, Standard, Single Stock, Modified and Production). The shooters from CZUB then participated – and won – in three divisions: Open, Standard and Production. Marian Vyšný even managed to beat Eduardo de Cobos in the Production division.
