The first round of Czech superleague was dominated by the shooters and pistols of Česká zbrojovka

WINS IN THREE DIVISIONS

The first round of another season of Czech Superleague in pistol practical shooting commenced at the weekend. 186 shooters of 9 countries had to cope with 11 rather demanding shooting situations at the shooting range in Hodonice near Znojmo. And as usual, the competition was dominated by the shooters of the Shooting Team of Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod and the firearms of the arms factory.

The shooting competition was held under the clear and sunny sky but under windy and cold conditions making the fulfilment of shooting tasks difficult. However, the shooters of Česká zbrojovka managed to handle the conditions exceptionally well. Especially in the Open Division which was won by Martin Kameníček and in which the shooters of CZUB occupied the first five positions. A similar scenario could be seen in the Standard Division which was won by Györgi Batki of Hungary, while other members of the CZUB Shooting Team took the first and second place. Ljubiša Momčilovič of Serbia finished second in the Production Division. The results of this division could have been even considerably better for the CZUB Shooting Team but for an error of the referee recording the time of the shooter Miroslav Zapletal at shooting box 3; with the correct time recorded, he would have finished third above the shooter Vinduška.

In addition to Czech shooters, the first round of Czech Superleague in pistol practical shooting was participated by the shooters of Austria, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Serbia.

The shooters of Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod use the following firearms:
