Zbrojovka shooters made this weekend a great score in Poland

This weekend we have seen 4th year of the practical shooting competition (according to the rules of IPSC) Cracow Open. Factory shooters of Česká zbrojovka excelled again. The Team CZ Shooting nominated to this championship 4 competitors, who among international competition again scored a great achievement and brought home two gold and two silver medals.

The first place was contested by Miroslav Zapletal in the PRODUCTION Division (the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow) and Petr Znamenáček in the STANDARD Division (the CZ 75 TS). The silver medals were shot by Robin Šebo in the OPEN Division (the CZ 75 TS Czechmate) and Marián Vyšný, who protected the rear of Miroslav Zapletal in the PRODUCTION Division (the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow). Exigence of this championship is best evidenced by the fact that on Saturday and Sunday more than 300 shooters arrived to Cracow hailing from 18 countries; hence the competition was really great.

Now the whole Team CZ Shooting is already on its way to Belgrade. The coming weekend will be held there 4th year of the international championship in the practical shooting the Open Delta Cup. This competition is the last great race held at the Belgrade shooting range before the European Championship, which will take place there in the next year.

This is one of the reasons why most of Česká zbrojovka factory shooters are heading to Serbia so they can be “on the spot” at this very shooting range. Our shooters will be joined there also by two shooters from Serbia, who are likewise representing Team CZ Shooting using CZ pistols. More than 400 shooters from 35 countries will come to Serbia for this major rehearsal for the European Championship 2010 (the main sponsor of which will be Česká zbrojovka a.s.).
