Three victories for shooters and pistols from CZUB

The shooting competition at Hodonice near Znojmo, Czech Republic ended with three victories for shooters of the Team CZ Shooting and pistols made by Česká zbrojovka. The local shooting range saw this weekend the first year of the shooting competition in dynamic IPSC event, I. G.P. Euro Challenge 2012. Shooters from Uherský Brod achieved excellent results competing among 182 shooters coming from 14 countries, who had to cope with 18 very demanding and well-prepared shooting stages.

There was a windy and chilly weather at the Hodonice shooting range making it for shooters even harder to perform tasks posed by individual shooting stages. Shooters from Česká zbrojovka managed to handle these conditions really in an outstanding manner. The Open Division has been won by Martin Kameníček and the shooters from Zbrojovka took over other positions at winner’s platform. This situation was similar in the Standard Division where Petr Znamenáček won the highest place in front of György Batki from Hungary. The Production Division second place has been occupied by the Serb Ljubiša Momčilovič, but with loss at absolute minimum, which in recalculation meant hundredths of seconds. And the Modified Division has been won by the World Champion Zdeněk Heneš.

The standard of this year’s shooting competition at Hodonice definitely laid the foundations to become in the next years one of the finest and the best manned practical shooting competitions in Europe.
