Shooters of CZUB dominated at Slovakia Championship

Activities related to preparing for the IPSC World Shoot in Greek Rhodos are getting momentum and shooters involved in Uherský Brod shooting program spare no efforts to use every opportunity to test their competition ready condition. This time they participated at the International Championship of Slovakia in the IPSC Dynamic Shooting (as this sport is called in Slovakia). And also in the town of Zvolen, Slovakia the shooters of CZ ruled last weekend at the starting field made of 125 shooters coming from 8 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Serbia, Hungary and Lithuania).

At the Championship of Slovakia there were shot only four from five IPSC divisions (Modified, Open, Production and Standard). Five shooters from the factory team of Česká zbrojovka took part in this event (Miroslav Zapletal, Marian Vyšný, Ljubiša Momčilovič and Andrej Hrnčiarik – all in Production Division, in Standard Division it was excellent György Batki). Organizers from the Zvolen IPSC home club prepared for the participants ten very demanding shooting stages, which were for the shooters a good test on their way to Rhodos. It could be said that the weather conditions were quite good, although it was rather cloudy with a slight drizzle from time to time.
All shooters from Team CZ Shooting of Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod were awarded with medals as they clearly ruled in the PRODUCTION Division by their placing at the first three places. Another great hope from Uherský Brod, Andrej Hrnčiarik from Slovakia, won in the JUNIOR Category of Production Division. The last but not least of CZUB´s participating shooters, Hungarian shooter György Batki won in STANDARD Division.
