Shooters of Česká Zbrojovka Overruled Moscow Open 2011
In the last weekend (3rd and 4th December) a prestigious IPSC Championship took place in Moscow. The shooting matches were held in the Christmas Season decorated “Strelkovom komplekse“, which was built two years ago at a cost of 15 millions Euros and boasts to be the largest covered shooting range in Europe.
Shooters invited to this prestigious Moscow Open 2011 Championship were, besides shooters from Česká zbrojovka, also other top shooters from Europe and North America. In the race having 18 stages participated over 190 competitors. Most of those stages were very challenging and could take rank with stages in the World Championship. Representatives of Česká zbrojovka stood the test with flying colours, even as their members were showing marks of certain nervousness caused by the unusual way of arms checking at the airport. Successes were achieved with high-grade pistols made by Česká zbrojovka, i.e. the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow and CZ 75 TS Czechmate.
Among “non-shooting” impressions we could mention fresh snow and congestions in the streets of Moscow. And also an unusual of shooting premises decorations, which consisted of a T – 55 tank and Mig – 29 fighter ….
