Excellent results by Ivo Hilsler in the World Cup Competition in Beijing

Ivo Hilsler, a member of SKP Kometa Club in Brno and of the Česká zbrojovka Factory Team, has achieved excellent results in the World Cup, representing the Czech Republic. In his first major international event in the Men's category this shooter took 6th place in the skeet discipline out of 91 of the world's finest shooters.

Already in the first round Ivo Hilsler had achieved a virtually perfect score - 123 out of 125 possible points. He was then successful in a shoot-off with six other rivals for a place in the final. Though only by one point, however, he missed the shoot-off for participation in the 2012 Olympics in London.

Participation in the World Cup finals and the highest position amongst the Czech representatives in the SKEET discipline undoubtedly represents a major success for this up-and-coming young shooter. In this manner Ivo Hilsler, following on from his successes last year, by his recent performance, has made his case for inclusion in the Olympic team for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
