Pistol for Renata Langmannova

Renata Langmannova, the Face of Česká zbrojovka and Miss of the Czech Republic, took over this Wednesday from Ing. Miroslav Surý, Marketing Manager of Česká zbrojovka the CZ 75 D COMPACT.
It should be noted that in this case it is not “a regular serially produced” handgun, but a unique piece which was manufactured specifically for Renata. The pistol boasts a red frame embellished with RL monogram and a symbol of lion, thus the zodiac sign of Renata birth. Moreover, our prominent engraver Mr. René Ondra gave to this pistol some touches Renata would like to have.

And Renata relation to firearms? It is not only given by the fact that she studies at Police Academy. But as she remembers as a very young girl she very often enjoyed shooting from air rifle with her grandfather. The real firearm came years later at the shooting range where she came along with school friends. At that time the model was the CZ 75 D COMPACT. “The first shot was of course full of emotions, as everybody certainly experiences” says Renata. “But instantly it was clear to me that I want to learn how to shoot properly. My relation to firearms is rather unique. I feel towards them an immense respect, but despite this they pump my adrenalin.”
Renata is involved in the long-term intensive programme and she makes it to the shooting range only every so often. But maybe this all will change with this new pistol …
