Close and long-term cooperation of Česká zbrojovka a.s. and Secondary Modern School – Centre for Professional Training in Engineering and Technique (SŠ-COPt) Uherský Brod, focused on practical training of students in specialized production plants, and also the opportunity to employ the school graduates in our arms factory gradually brings a highly positive results. This is confirmed by a strong interest among this school graduates to be employed by Česká zbrojovka.
„The interest shown in this year – and also in 2010 – when compared with previous years is really great. This year we have registered a total of 20 graduates of SŠ-COPt Uherský Brod, who wish to work for our company,“ according to information given by the Human Resources Director of Česká zbrojovka a.s. Ing. Ladislav Koníček. „We are understandably pleased with such record interest and we certainly employ all of them. And as per school recommendation the best of them will be allocated at firearms assembly shop or as CNC machines operators. Regarding the starting term of their employment we have to say that it is arranged with each graduate individually and in accordance with requirements of manufacturing facilities and it is set in the range from June to September 2011.“ The graduates of SŠ-COPt Uherský Brod start their work in Česká zbrojovka with a provision that they will have employment contract of an indefinite duration with probationary period for 3 months. We have prepared for them also other conditions which are above common standard.
„Česká zbrojovka a.s. has a very good experience with enrolment of SŠ-COPt graduates,“ states Ing. Ladislav Koníček. „Graduates of this school work at our company in positions such as Technical Director, Operations Director, Head of Design Dept. Tool-making Dept.Manager, designer or production engineer. Graduates of SŠ-COPt gradually become with us the real experts in the manufacture of firearms.“ The arms factory located in the town of Uherský Brod, one of the largest employers in the region of Zlín, plans to continue to cooperate with SŠ-COPt Uherský Brod. „It is for us a way proven by many years and practice to continue to provide knowledgeable personnel having a high-quality expertise. I maintain regular contacts with the Principal of the School Mgr. Milan Pechal, who by this is well aware about our requirements. The result of excellent relations between our company and school is Agreement on Mutual Cooperation, which for example guarantees to graduates prospects of employment at Česká zbrojovka. And we are very pleased that this Secondary Modern School opens another classroom beginning the new school year“ concludes Human Resources Director.
