Members of the CZ Shooting Team scored on three frontlines

The last weekend belonged to fans of the practical combat shooting according to the IPSC rules as well the dynamic shotgun Olympic disciplines, Trap & Skeet, which are celebrating their premiere within the shooting programme of the CZ Shooting Team in 2010. The prestigious IPSC challenge was hosted by Komárno in Slovakia as well the village of Hodonice close to Znojmo, in Moravia. The International Shotgun Memorial Competition of Miloslav Bednařík was run at the shotgun shooting range in Soběšice, Brno. It has become a common practice that shooters within the CZ Shooting Team could not bring any disappointments. Furthermore there was extraordinary success achieved by new pistols from Česká Zbrojovka as well as over-under shotguns manufactured by its daughter company, the Brno Rifles s.r.o.

The International Mosquito Open challenge taking place in the period of 29.4.-30.4.2010 in Komárno saw the PRODUCTION Division dominated by the winning shooter from the CZ Shooting Team, Marian Vyšný, and the PRODUCTION “Junior“ category produced another winner bearing the colours of Česká Zbrojovka a.s., Andrej Hrnčiarik. Both of them are shooting the legendary CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow from Uherský Brod. The STANDARD division found its winner in the Hungarian shooter, Gyorgy Batki, with his CZ 75 TS pistol. He is just another member of the international shooting team of Česká Zbrojovka a.s. Uherský Brod.

The first annual competition within the IPSC RELAX pistol challenge in 2010, which took place in the period of 1.5.-2.5.2010, attended by shooters from ten European countries, was dominated by shooters wearing the colours of Česká Zbrojovka, when they placed 1st, 3rd and 4th within the PRODUCTION division. The gold medal was gained by the shooter from the international SZ Shooting Team, Ljubiša Momčilovič from Serbia, the third place was occupied by the “Junior“ shooter, Andrej Hrnčiarik from Slovakia (his best place in a lifetime attained among seniors) and the fourth place belonged to another representative of the company from Uherský Brod, Miroslav Zapletal. All three of them showed excellent performance using the factory models of CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow pistol. Members of the CZ Shooting Team occupied the first four places in the OPEN division, with the leader Martin Kameníček, followed by Robin Šebo and Miroslav Havlíček. The fourth place was left for another shooter from Česká Zbrojovka a.s., Petr Pijáček. All of them shot the new CZ 75 TS Czechmate pistol, developed specially for the IPSC Open division.
The STANDARD division also was shooters from the CZ Shooting Team among the winners. The victory belonged to the member of the international CZ Shooting Team, the Hungarian shooter Gyorgy Batki, followed by his fellow mate from the CZ Shooting Team, Petr Znamenáček, Zdeněk Liehne claimed the fourth place, being also one of the members of the shooting programme of Česká zbrojovka a.s. Every one of these shooters used the CZ 75 TS pistols calibre .40S&W.
We have become accustomed to success of shooters from Uherský Brod in the IPSC action disciplines. Surprisingly enough, the shotgun range in Soběšice saw a tremendous success and resurrected over-under shotguns from Brno, when one of the members of the CZ Shooting Team and Kometa Brno, Ivo Hišler, won among the strong international competitors in the Olympic SKEET discipline during the Memorial Competition of Miloslav Bednařík. Thsi excellent performance was achieved using a new over-under shotgun, the Brno Rifles SKEET Competition model. Another shotgun competitor from the CZ Shooting Team, Miroslav Matějík, shooting the TRAP discipline, also showed a brilliant piece of art with his best score for this year. However, this achievement was only good enough for the 15th place today with 130 of the top world shooters attending the competition.
