Chemical (currentless) nickel-plating creates an excellent corrosion-resistant coating (with a content of phosphorus of between 10.5 and 11.5%). The deposited nickel allows plating of components of complicated shapes and holes and edges. The layer of nickel is deposited evenly over the entire surface area.
