Heat treatment is performed in a computer-controlled furnace. Degreasing of parts prior to hardening is carried out in tri-chlor vapours in a facility with a closed cycle. For all processed parts there is an attest certificate in respect of the hardness test; archiving takes place automatically during the cycle. On request, there is the possibility of conduction metallographic analysis, and/or issuance of a document concerning the heat treatment process.
Vacuum hardening
Heat treatment by hardening, tempering and annealing of structural and tool steels in a vacuum.
Limitations to the size and weight of the processed parts:
- maximum diameter of the component up to 420 mm (in case of high-speed steel max. Ø 80 mm)
- maximum length of the component 750 mm
- maximum weight of the component 100 kg
- maximum temperature 1200°C
- quenching medium nitrogen, salt
Hardening in a protective atmosphere
Heat treatment by hardening, tempering and annealing of structural and tool steels in a protective atmosphere.
Limitations to the size and weight of the processed parts:
- maximum diameter of the component 450 mm
- maximum length of the component 700 mm
- maximum weight of the component 200 kg
- maximum temperature 950°C
- quenching medium salt, oil
