Česká zbrojovka a.s. manufactures and supplies to its customers engineering products, parts and assemblies designed mainly for aircraft and automotive industries. The automotive industry includes activities such as machining, stamping, degreasing and control of production. All of these activities possess certificates. The aircraft industry is involved in production of gear-units for motors and gear wheels, further there are tool works involved in sharpening and in production of cutting tools, gauges, fixtures and moulds. As the surface finishes are concerned we make blueing, phosphating, chromium-plating, nickel-plating and painting. Among heat treatment operations we do hardening, carburising, annealing and blasting.
Blackening Phosphating Chroming Nickel-plating Painting
The aim of carburising and carbonitriding is to achieve hard surface layers while maintaining the core resilient. After hardening, the parts are then tempered.
Is the saturation of the surface of an item with carbon. Cementation steels usually have up to 0.2% of C. The thickness of the layer is usually between 0.05 and 1.8 mm. Pursuant to the requirements we perform it in the following environments:
Is the saturation of the surface of an item with carbon and nitrogen. We have available only gaseous environment. Steels for carbonitriding have between 0.3 - 0.4% of C. The usual thickness of the layer is between 0.05 and 0.5 mm.
Limitation of dimensions and weight of processed parts:
Česká zbrojovka a.s. applies the quality management system ISO 9001 to all its activities, and in the field of aviation manufacturing and of components for aerospace, the quality management system in accordance with JAA JAR 21, Subpart G. For all processed parts an attest certificate is issued in respect of the hardness tests; archiving takes place automatically during the cycle. On request, there is the possibility of conduction metallographic analysis, or the issuance of a document concerning the heat treatment process.
